Charlie’s Catering was founded in 2022 by Charles Yoshida and Lee Aik Guan — two chefs who spent a combined 40+ years working in the kitchens of Singapore’s most iconic hotels before deciding to build something of their own.
Charles and Lee met through Singapore’s hotel culinary circuit, where both had worked across Raffles Hotel, Sheraton Towers, Resorts World Sentosa, Park Royal at Pickering, and other landmark properties. Between them, they had managed multi-outlet kitchen operations, served state-level dinners, and built the kind of systems and standards that five-star hospitality demands.
The idea behind Charlie’s was straightforward: to take that same level of culinary discipline, operational structure, and quality control — and make it accessible to companies, families, and communities who deserve great food at their events, not just hotel guests.

Lee Aik Guan is the co-founder and Executive Chef of Charlie’s Catering, bringing over 20 years of hotel culinary experience to the kitchen.
